Museum and culture lovers, this one is for you:
Amsterdam is a city full of culture and museum, our favourite place: Museumplein! This
unique parc is home to the Rijksmuseum, the Stedelijk Museum, the Van Gogh Museum, the
Moco-Banksy Museum and the Poëzie Museum! Wander around these interesting museums
to enrich your culture and knowledge!
Learn the history of the Netherlands and see some Dutch masterworks from the Golden Age
at the Rijksmuseum (entry fee of 20€). Enjoy some modern and contemporary visual art and
design at the Stedelijk Museum (entry fee of 18,50€ for adults and 10€ for students).
Discover the work of the famous Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh like his painting
Sunflowers, Self-Portrait and The Yellow House (ticket cost 19€).
For a bit of the Netherlands culture, you might want to stop at the Royal Palace. Home of the
Royal history it is also known as the official reception palace. Along the years it has host
many events like the throne passage, royal weddings and so on. (entry fee of 10€ for adults,
9€ for students).
Finally, Amsterdam is also well-known for hosting the house where Anne Frank hide during
the world war two, you can see the Museum telling her story and see the ‘secret annex’
where they lived. This place is charged with history and going there can be a moving
experience. Moreover, if you have read her journal this place is a must-see to fully
understand the book. (entrance fee of 10€).
Beer connoisseur, take a look at this:
You like beer and want to know more about it while tasting new products? Amsterdam is a
great place for you!
First stop: the Heineken Experience, this experience is a mix between an amusement park
and a museum. You will learn everything about the Heineken beers from where they come
from to how there are made! You can also see some old ads and taste some beers! (ticket
cost 18€ for the entry and 2 fresh beer at the bar).
Continue your beer tour by visiting the De Gooyer windmill host of the Brouwerij’t IJ
microbrewery. This place offers a large selection of organic beers, a pub and large outdoor
terrace! Our recommendation? Go there and do one of the guided tours of the brewery and
then stop at the outdoor pub terrace to enjoy some of their beers while being in a nice
environment. (guided tour cost 6,50€ and start at 3.30pm)
Finish the day by hopping from one pub to the other in order to taste some of the best beer of
the city like the Proeflokaal Arendsnest or the Beer Temple. (Do not forget to drink safely!)

Our first and most known stop: the Staalmeestersburg Bridge also known as the “Bridge of
Love”. The view and the history behind the bridge is beautiful to capture and keep as a
memory. So… go for it!
Continue your Instagram journey by going to the Damrak aka the “Red Carpet” of
Amsterdam! This avenue goes from Amsterdam central to Dam Square. It allows you to take
some nice shots of the houses along the canal.
A famous Instagram spot in Amsterdam is the Wall Gallery in the De Pijp district. A nice
place to take pictures and have some fun!
Speaking of famous and iconic place in Amsterdam, you need to see Brouwersgracht in the
city centre. There, you will find one of the best spots to take some beautiful pictures of the
canals. If you have time, try to go there at night as the bridges are covered in fairy lights and
it creates a marvellous atmosphere.
If the weather is nice do not hesitate to take a trip outside of the city centre of Amsterdam to
the Keukenhof gardens in order to enjoy some wonderful flowers and especially tulips. A
great place for the eyes but also a great stop to take some pictures!
Flowers are your thing, but you do not want to go far away from the centre? Go to the
Bloemenmarkt alongside the canal find some beautiful boats field with flowers. The perfect
place for a perfect picture!
Before you leave do not forget to take a little stroll around the Jordaan neighbourhood, one of
the prettiest places in Amsterdam where you can take some authentic pictures of what the
city looks like.
If an event is planned in Amsterdam you might also have the chance to encounter the very
famous I Amsterdam letters that used to be at the Museumplein so look for it before the day
of your trip so that you do not miss them!

Our first stop: Madame Tussauds Museum. This unique place allows you to meet all your
favourite heroes and celebrities at the same time! Take some funny pictures and live a
unique adventure! Start the visit with prince Harry and Meghan Markle but also all the
Avengers! After that, sing some song with Dua Lipa and Adèle while meeting all your
favourites actors! This visit will feel like a dream come true! (entry fee of 20€ if booked online,
24,50€ if not)
Next stop: De Ton Ton Club. This place will allow your inner child to have some fun! From
arcade game to ball pit. Everything here is made so that you have some fun! The place is
only open for people older than eighteen so do not fear being bother by children, the place is
all yours! While you there you can also eat some food and drink some beers but, be aware
that prices tend to be a bit higher here.
If you enjoy being outside, the Vondelpark can be a nice place for you to hangout. Often you
will find many street concerts but also sport and cultural events. It is also a place where you
can enjoy some relaxing time in Amsterdam with friends. You might also want to hop on a
bike and do a little tour of the parc to enjoy the scenery and atmosphere of this place.
Want to cycle your way around Amsterdam? Here are our tips to live a great
Renting a bike in Amsterdam is the opportunity to have spent a nice day in Amsterdam while
discovering many places.
It will cost you approximately 7€ to 10€ for 3 hours of renting. Due to the many bicycle path,
visiting Amsterdam could be very relaxing and interesting. Go with the flow and wander
around the streets of the city.
Some organised cycle tours also exist but they are a bit more expensive. A 2h30 tour will
cost you approximately 30€ to 40€ depending on where you go.
Time to eat
All this visits and adventures have made you hungry? We recommend you stop at the
Foodhallen where you will have many options to find the perfect meal. As the choice can be
hard, here are our favourite Dutch’s dish to try during your trip to Amsterdam!
– Stroopwafel: one of the most famous Dutch’s food, you can taste it at different street stand
for instance at the market. Made of dough filled with caramel syrup, you will love it!
– Herring: try this delicious raw herring with salt and onions. A unique dish symbol of the
Amsterdam’s street food.
– Bitterballen: if you grab a beer in Amsterdam make sure to eat these tasty deep-fried crispy
meatballs with it! (Available in most of the Pub with a nice Dutch beer)
– Poffertjes: this baby pancakes covered in butter and powdered sugar are a must eat
(preferably at Pancake Bakery next to Anne Frank house as this place is a Pancake

Amsterdam is known for being a great place to party. Find yourself a nice pub and enjoy
