Cochem-Burg Eltz

Dear Uniflucht Family,

We normally don’t do trips inside Germany but here is a trip which would be difficult for you to do alone! We are going to Cochem and to Burg Eltz! Take your camera with you for crazy selfies and views!
Do not miss our scenic full-day tour to Burg Eltz and Cochem, as we follow the river Rhine and get acquainted with the charms of West Germany.

This trip is special for students, but it is not limited only. Everyone is welcomed to join!

Day 1📆 03 June 2023, Saturday

Are you ready to start a new journey with Uniflucht? Pack your
bags, get ready to make new friends and kick a good start to your trip!
We start on Saturday morning from Germany.
To enjoy this beauty we will give 2 -3 Hours to do a sightseeing tour around, which will be also enough to visit the Castle, the lake also to enjoy the food at the restaurants around!
Afterwards, we will head to Cochem.
It’s known as one of the prettiest villages along the Mosel. Little seems to have changed for centuries. The town has many beautiful buildings, quaint cottages, black & tan guild houses and winding streets. The town square, lined with its half-timbered houses, is particularly fine and Cochem Castle dramatically rises above the town. The town of Cochem itself is a sight worth seeing, not only because of its narrow streets and twisty alleys, the lovingly restored half-timbered houses with the typical slate roofs, the historical marketplace but also because of its medieval town gates, churches and walls.

We are leaving for the return trip in the evening.
The exact time of arrival can be confirmed after the bus leaves Cochem. Feel free to contact the bus driver or one of the Uniflucht leaders.

EU citizens do not require passports for travel. EU citizens need a National Identification (ID) card (Driving license is not sufficient)
Non-EU citizens must carry a valid passport and either a residence permit or visa
Photocopies or electronic versions of these documents are not acceptable. Original documents must be presented to board on the bus.

Please do not forget any of the above stated documents! Travellers without valid identity & visa documents will not be allowed to join us! Please consider the fact that your seats will be reserved, therefore in such case we will not be able to refund the paid amount!
