EU citizens do not require passports for travel. EU citizens need a National Identification (ID) card (Driving license is not sufficient)
Non-EU citizens must carry a valid passport and either a residence permit or visa
Photocopies or electronic versions of these documents are not acceptable. Original documents must be presented to board on the bus.
Please do not forget any of the above stated documents! Travellers without valid identity & visa documents will not be allowed to join us! Please consider the fact that your seats will be reserved, therefore in such case we will not be able to refund the paid amount!
On first day departure to check-in the hotel:
We have been kept waited for almost 1 hour just because of 2-4 people being late (despite the coordinator being said we will leave on declared time if someone is late). On top of that, another 30mins wait during the night just to drop a couple in a different hotel and this is really annoying as ideally no special VIP treatment to someone thus making sure everybody comfortable and can utilize the time better. This whole episode of waiting for someone delayed the check-in at the hotel eventually everyone’s precious time.
On second day check-out at the hotel:
We have been told to leave the luggage on the bus parked at hotel and we are on our own with a free time at Chamonix. Since, the public transport at this place is not frequent it would have been very helpful if there is a drop done to the center of that town which is actually not so far + most of the activities possible at the town center + ride to this town center is not so far and easy with a private motor ride; this would have saved a lot of time for the travelers which can be utilized for the activities. Unfortunately, most of us did wait for a public transport for more than 45 mins just enquiring about how to go and where to go. In this case, our coordinator is not at all helpful unfortunately be it in guiding us how to go to the center of the town OR which bus to take OR places to visit (just sharing the locations from Google doesn’t help) and just staying at the hotel claiming that she is not a local and advised us to ask someone. The most annoying thing is the Boarding point to departure from Chamonix is very near to the town center which can utilized to drop the travelers in the morning, too.
To summarize, this is not the intended public trip we expected knowing the fact that everyone should be coordinating and most importantly the need for skilled coordinator about the places we are going to visit in the tour.
