Dear Uniflucht Family
🌷The most beautiful spring garden in the world!
The history of Keukenhof dates back to the 15th century. Countess Jacoba van Beieren [Jacqueline of Bavaria] (1401-1436) used ‘Keukenduyn’ [kitchen dunes] as hunting ground for the kitchen of Teylingen Castle. Keukenhof Castle was built in 1641 and the estate grew to encompass an area of over 200 hectares.
Landscape architects Jan David Zocher and his son Louis Paul Zocher, who also designed Amsterdam’s Vondelpark, redesigned the castle gardens in 1857. That park, in the English landscape style, still constitutes the basis of Keukenhof.
In 1949 a group of 20 leading flower bulb growers and exporters came up with the plan to use the estate to exhibit spring-flowering bulbs, signaling the birth of Keukenhof as a spring park. The park opened its gates to the public in 1950 and was an instant success, with 236,000 visitors in the first year alone. 2024 will be the 75th edition of Keukenhof. During the past 74 years Keukenhof developed into a world-famous attraction.
Everyone is invited to participate!

This has been one of the worst trips I have been to. Before this trip, I went to Paris with Uniflucht and had a great time, which is why my sister and I decided to go with Uniflucht for this tour. But sadly had the worst experience. Our departure time was 7:30 and we knew we could miss the departure time and informed the team leader. We let her know that we would be on the way where the bus would return to Berlin. All the bus has to do is stop and pick us up from the road. But we were told to take the train or flixbus back to Berlin. For this trip, we both paid 89.99 each and the last-minute trip from Amsterdam to Berlin cost us 65 each and as a student, it was way too much for us to spend on a single trip. If I had to spend this amount of money on a single trip, I would choose public transportation rather than going with you guys. I am sorry, but this was not acceptable.
